All beginners will experience a very steep learning curve, I don't want you to go through an expensive learning curve too. Play with the free opportunities, then when you are more experienced, you will be able to determine for yourself what opportunities will work and which ones will fail, without being broke.

Obviously if your doing anything online you will have to pay for Internet access and hosting. If you are using things like auction sites, then there will be listing fees. But the things i talk about won't break you, what you spend is in your control.

The great thing about AdSense is, that it can be placed on any website, except for those that breach it's policies, like adult sites for example.

What is Google AdSense?

Google allows webmasters, to place ads across its Google mammoth networks. This is called Google AdWords.

You can cash in and earn some of googles revenue, by advertising these ads on your website, this is called Google AdSense.

Just to clarify, AdWords is when you place ads on Google and across other sites.

AdSense is a way of getting paid for advertising other peoples ads on your site.

How much can I earn with Google AdSense?

You will be paid a commission when, someone clicks on one of the ads displayed on your website.

The ads that will be displayed on your website are content targeted.

Having targeted ads on your site, will increase the chances of someone clicking on them. For example, if your website is all about horses, it is unlikely a visitor will click on an ad about cars.

There are ways of making sure you get the best from having AdSense on your website.

Make sure you don't click on your own ads, it is not worth the risk of suspension.

Place the ads above the fold, right in the eye shot of your visitors.

If you make a website that is purely just for the purpose of displaying Google AdSense, then make sure, you are able to write good content about your sites subject.

It is all about research, projecting your potential earnings, and finding ways to improve. You could in theory develop all of your choices ways to make money, but too many eggs in one basket to start with, will burn you out. My advice would be, to completely develop one idea before you even think about starting another.

You wont be short of competitors, but one thing you will have more than them is, a firm plan and bags of determination. You need to be amazing at what you do, always offering a different approach than your competitors.

You will of noticed that I have not given you any examples in this post. This is because I want you to begin with your own ideas, and your own unique plans, this way you will finish with success. Try not to adopt any one's ways of making money. Sure you can do the same thing, but do it differently.

Online scammers are getting more clever, you maybe a person who is very level headed and does not fall for money making scams, but unfortunately we are all victims at some point.

The only way to not get sucked into a get rich quick scam is, to apply the old saying, "if something seems to good to be true, it probably is".

I am not saying that all money making opportunities are scams, far from it, all I will say is, to get rich or make a decent amount of money online, takes time.

You can check out an opportunity, by checking them out on good old Google. You could even try forums to see if anybody has already tried it.

It is only my opinion, but I believe the way to make money online is, to find a niche and make it your own. Create a way of doing something that is better than your competitor. Nothing wrong with getting involved with an opportunity that already exists. Use free resources sites that help you to earn money for free and give impartial advice.

To make money from your blog you have to monetize it. How you do this will depend on the readers you attract.

This all depends on you and your blog. One thing you need to do for sure, is write a good blog that your readers will enjoy. Don't write about something you don't enjoy yourself, your readers will see through it.

Secondly you need to make sure your traffic is targeted. It is not about quantity, but rather it is about quality. If someone for example is a golfer and stumbles on your cooking blog. Will they stay and read your posts? Highly unlikely. This is where Internet Marketing comes in. Successful bloggers are also internet marketers.
